Orlando di Lasso was one of the most important masters of Renaissance music. This new disc by Weser-Renaissance and Manfred Cordes, who now have an impressive collection of recordings on CPO, has a festive theme.

Prophetiae Sibyllarum is a unique work. Since all the texts have the Christmas message as their theme, it was natural to couple this work with Lasso’s Christmas Motets.
