Hefti is a Swiss composer and his composition Rotas was written in 2009. It is the final work in a 5-part cycle called SATOR. In Wunderhorn-Musik, he has produced seven sonic pictures for violin and ensemble. They are dedicated to the musicians, the violinist Rahel Cunz, the ensemble TaG and the conductor Jan van Steen.
