This CD with the Ensemble Recherche gives us an opportunity to listen to some chamber music works that had been previously unpublished, the manuscripts of which are in the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel. It collects a mixed bouquet of occasional pieces, dedicated to close friends and colleagues, spanning a time of approximately two decades (eg Yehudi Menuhin, Leon Fleisher, Paul Dessau).
Most pieces are first recordings (the exceptions are An Brenton, Toccata mistica and Adagio adagio).
