About
Irving Berlin, a composer who wrote both music and lyrics, who was responsible for “God Bless America,” “White Christmas,” “Oh, How I Hate to Get Up in The Morning,” ”There’s No Business Like Show Business,” and over 500 other great hits, wrote 'Mr. President' in 1962. The show was to be his final Broadway musical in a career that spanned six decades.
The original cast album starring film greats Robert Ryan and Nanette Fabray has long been sought out by cast album collectors as it has been out of print for several years. Songs include “The Secret Service,” “They Love Me,” “Glad to Be Home,” “This Is a Great Country,” and “The Only Dance I Know.”
