About

Spain, Argentina and Brazil provide the background for some of the richest folklore in the world, the source of a wealth of music and tradition that has influenced countless composers. This disc of 20th Century music for the unusual, yet fabulous, combination of choir and guitar celebrates this rich heritage, with the title taken from Marlos Nobre's Yanomami, a work inspired by the culture of the indigenous Yanomami people.

The disc features the UK's only professional choir dedicated to Hispanic and Latin-American music, Coro Cervantes, and the internationally celebrated guitarist Fabio Zanon.

World Premiere Recordings of Surinach's Sonatina and Via Crucis.
