About
This powerful musical cosmos, recorded here by the internationally renowned Armenian pianist Margarita Oganesjan and the multi-award-winning cellist Hendrik Blumenroth, captivates listeners from the very first note.
The search for the perfect sound coupled with a will to really penetrate the music being played – that is the best way to describe the cellist Hendrik Blumenroth. The violoncello is his voice, his partner and his daily motivation. Chamber music is the medium in which he can express and fulfil himself most completely. He pursues this passion above all as the cellist in the well-known delian::quartett.
Hendrik Blumenroth studied with Wen-Sinn Yang at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (University of Music and Performing Arts Munich). He has won numerous German and international prizes both as soloist and member of various ensembles.
Pianist Margarita Oganesjan started learning to play piano early on from great masters of her native country. To this day, her playing radiates the atmosphere and spirit of this wonderful country, which has produced so many magnificent artists. After moving to Germany, she consolidated this training in virtuosity and musicality at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (University of Music and Performing Arts Munich) and the Salzburg Mozarteum under Vadim Suchanov and Aleksei Lubimov. Chamber music is one of her leading passions, along with solo recitals and piano concertos.
