About

Gianluca Verlingieri chose "Musica Ritrovata" as the title of his CD as this is the motto under which he places his chamber music of the last fifteen years - music with elements that have been rediscovered and retrieved from other periods and recomposed in the musical language of our time.

To him, this adds a new interpretive reading by creative means, using a central medium of our time: electronics, which he understands as a transformation of reborn, rediscovered music to bring it to the present day.

Composer Gianluca Verlingieri (b.1976, Cuneo, Italy), a "talent exceptionnel" according to Radio France, has gained international recognition for performances of his music and projects in prestigious venues worldwide. His music, which has been honoured with many awards in Europe and North America, is regularly performed by internationally established soloists and ensembles, as well as by young emerging artists.
