About

Transkrypton is the debut album of the excellent Duo Wolańska/Gajda. The unobvious combination of piano and accordion, seemingly two completely opposing instruments, allows the listener to discover masterpieces of classical music in a completely new, unprecedented version.

Over the course of 7 years of their artistic activity, pianist Julia Wolańska-Gajda and accordionist Michał Gajda made their debut in the most prestigious concert halls around the world, e.g. the famous New York Carnegie Hall, Berlin Philharmonie, Mozarteum Saal in Salzburg, Musikverein in Vienna, Kioi Hall in Tokyo and Guri Art Hall in Korea.
