He has become internationally renowned as director of the Flemish Radio Choir, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields Chorus, the World Youth Choir and the Ghent Madrigal Choir.
As a composer Johan Duijck concentrates on choral, piano, organ and chamber music and this new recording ‘L’Homme désarmé’ features a number of his choral and chamber works along with Laudes organi for organ.
Performed by a number of soloists and the Flemish Radio Choir, this is a wonderful introduction to his music, conducted by the composer himself.
