Robert Blocker is an internationally acclaimed concert pianist who performs throughout the world. Blocker has been described by the Los Angeles Times as an artist of “great skill and accomplishment” who performs with “a measurable virtuoso bent and considerable musical sensitivity.”
Pianist Peter Frankl made his London debut in 1962 and his New York debut with the Cleveland Orchestra under George Szell in 1967. Since that time he has performed with many of the world’s finest orchestras. In the United States he has been a regular guest artist at many leading festivals and has given master classes all over the world.
Promptly forging an identity as one of the most exciting young string quartets across the eastern United States, the Statera Quartet embodies the very essence of their home, the Yale School of Music. Formed by co-principals of the Yale Philharmonia, the Statera Quartet has recorded and collaborated with the school’s esteemed faculty along with their wonderful colleagues and are advocates for contemporary music.
William Boughton regularly records for both Nimbus and Lyrita labels and guest conducts around the world. He teaches at the Yale School of Music and is the Conductor of the Yale Symphony Orchestra.
Yale Philharmonia is the largest ensemble at the Yale School of Music, and has been described by the New York Times as “sensational” and “polished and dramatic.”

- Kate Arndt (violin)
- Gregory Lewis (violin)
- Marta Lambert (viola)
