The traditional elements of the Supper are all here, from the Selkirk Grace to Auld lang syne, from the Immortal Memory to the hearty, noisy music-making described in the rollicking tavern scene in Tam o' Shanter: 'The night drave on wi' sangs and clatter, / And ay the ale was growing better ...' In new and exciting arrangements, almost all written specifically for this recording, the University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir and friends invite you to share this celebration of Scotland's incomparable songmaker.
