Born in Seoul, Korea, Shin-Young Lee began her musical studies on the piano at the age of four and on the organ at the age of seventeen. She won the first prize at the Organ Competition of St François de Sales of Lyon (2007) and she was laureate of the 2nd International Jordan International Organ Competition in Columbus, USA (2009).
Ms Lee has presented solo recitals throughout France (International Organ Festivals of the Cathedral in Laon, St Eustache in Paris, Cathedral of Sens, Notre-Dame de Paris, La Madeleine, Versailles, Poitiers, Bordeaux, etc.) as well as in Europe (Spain, Italia, Slovenia, United-Kingdom, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany, Poland, Denmark) and in Russia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and in the USA.
She was professor of organ at the academy of Talence (France) in 2008 and 2009.
