About
This album is governed by two guiding principles. For the first part, Gerald Preinfalk has selected works of classical saxophone music that he regards as the most striking. On the recording he is accompanied by the wonderful pianist Iren Seleljo.
The second part features six compositions in a duo style in collaboration with Alegre Correa, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Per Mathisen, Fabien Rucker, Christoph Cech and Harri Stojka, creating an intimate seedbed of music.
