Featuring some unusual works, this disc includes Milhaud’s ‘Le train bleu’ (which celebrates the train from Paris to Deauville, a luxury modernization of its time!), and Tommasini’s homage to Scarlatti’s compositions (1878-1950).
Henri Saguet’s ‘Le Chatte’ is one of the most important works of the late Diaghalev era.
