About
This is the first album devoted to Colombian-born but long-time American resident Billy Arcila. He is considered one of Southern California’s prominent classical guitarists. He studied with William Kanengiser and Scott Tennant, members of the Grammy Award-winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. He has also studied the Baroque guitar and vihuela, a historic precursor to the guitar, an interest that deepened during his studies in Spain.
